Why did you choose Holly Douglas Boudoir for your session? 

I follow her FB page. All her photos are beautiful women, She’s the best!

What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session? 

I’ve always struggled with the way I see myself. I wanted to see myself the way I saw those other women. I wanted to see myself beautiful. And I do!

Were you nervous about the shoot beforehand? If so, what were you most nervous about? 

I wasn’t nervous, I just thought of it like going to the doctor. That is her profession and she does that for a living. No reason to be nervous. I was just was worried I would not like my pictures. I do, though, I love them.

Did you become more comfortable after the session started? If so, what helped to relax your nerves? 

Holly was great! I felt comfortable the whole time.

What was your favorite part of the experience and why? 

Trying on outfits and feeling special. Of course the massage was great, too.

How did you feel during your session? 

I felt fine and comfortable. It was like I knew Holly, even though I had just met her the day of the session.

Describe how you felt when you saw your images for the first time. 

Amazed! I was afraid I still would not like them. They’re gorgeous, though. I am beautiful!

How has your relationship with your body changed since your session? 

I’m trying to appreciate myself and my body for who I am.

What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc? 

Don’t worry about being shy. This is not something I would have ever done 5 years ago. I’m the woman who has never worn a 2-piece swim suit. If I can do it, YOU can do it. Do it for yourself! You will be fine and Holly make you feel comfortable and you feel like you know her.

This was a great experience! Hope to have another session!
