“What’s this boudoir concept it just looks like porn” said by today’s society.  To me Boudoir is a form of art that portrays us women as what we are, beautiful and resilient.

We have the power to shape the future of what we teach our younger generation about what truly loving yourself can be. We’ve all dealt with it “ The break up” or the god forbidden question we girls ask ourselves, “Why am I not good enough”? Um ladies we are most certainly are good enough! That’s what I’ve come to learn about myself and I have to tell my self a lot.

Most recently I just moved into my first apartment all by myself and let me tell you how exhilarating it has been. Not only am I allowed to be the utmost weirdest I can be without being judged but I am also learning to embrace myself and my body. I know I’m not the only one that has dealt with body image and I’ll be real it sucks ass.  This is the body I  live in and I can either cry about it or not give a crap what others think.

Social media can play a crucial role in today’s society when it comes to body shaming and with so many close minded people it’s hard to do much on any social media platform. That’s why I think boudoir can be such a wonderful and powerful way to express yourself.
